"But he knows you and almost confesses his love to you in front of the entire school. He's quite brave," Luo Xiao remarked with a tinge of bitterness, as he himself didn't have the courage to confess like that.
“可是他认识你呀，并且他几乎是当着全校师生的面向你表白了，勇气可嘉。”罗肖说出这句话时是有点苦涩的，因为他自己就不敢这么勇敢的表白。
" Senior, do you think he genuinely likes me? I mean, you've been surrounded by admirers for so many years; how is it that you haven't developed the ability to see through appearances and understand the essence of things?"
“罗学长，你觉得他喜欢我吗？我说学长，你在桃花里面泡了那么多年，怎么就没有锻炼出透过表象看本质的能力呢？”
"Please enlighten me, junior sister!"

"He said he likes me, so must I believe him?"

"Because his way of expressing love is far too direct, and love conveyed in such a simplistic manner may lack sincerity. True love is the kind that is silent and not expressed casually because when you truly love someone, you are afraid of losing them. Confessing to someone takes a lot of courage, and if it's true love, the person confessing will only act after ensuring the other person also has feelings for them. How can someone like him, who uses love as a mere verbal expression without any genuine sincerity, I doubt someone like him even understand what love truly is. Moreover, he made it public without my consent, which shows he is selfish and doesn't consider the impact and consequences would have on me. How can someone who can't empathize with others qualify to use the word 'love' ?"
